hindsight is annoying
but 100% accurate. fucker.
i should know better than to start projects the night before i'm leaving to go somewhere. but i got a new laptop and i wanted to put some music on it, so i had to figure out how to transfer my mp3 collection from the shared external drive to my laptop. easiest way i figured would be to put it on my jukebox and transfer it over. only last month i spent 2 days moving music files, making sure the filename/id3tag/etc. was correct and didn't make those changes on my jukebox, so i had to delete everything off my jukebox and move the new and improved files onto the jukebox before putting them on my laptop. dumb. me. and then i have to find where i put the software discs for the jukebox and install some drivers and whatever onto the laptop before i can actually use the thing to put the songs onto the lappie. tedious i tell you. and for the record, 10500 songs will probably take about 3 hours to transfer. so i'm sitting here wondering what else i can possibly do in the meantime, since like a big doofus i set it to transfer all 10500 of them at once.
