ever wonder why it's called drainbamaged?
it's because i do stupid stuff like listen to my doctor. the one who said no fan and no a/c when i'm sleeping. when the southwest is experiencing the warmest weather of the year so far. and it's humid enough that we're getting lightning storms. what is this, fucking florida?
anyway, i slept last night with no fan and no a/c, with the humidifier on. i had two icepacks on my body, hoping for some relief. who was i trying to fool?
the girlfriend left and went to sleep in the den, taking the unused fan with her. smart girl, the girlfriend is.
i must've sweat out about a gallon of water because i was so dehydrayed this morning i felt as if i was hungover.
so much for following doctor's orders. tonight it's fan on full blast, i tell you!

On the whole, I think it's a good idea to listen to the doctor.
That being said, if you ignore what he said about "no fan or AC" tonight, I will happily return to the bedroom, fan in tow!

Yeah. That fan thing. It didn't sound fun. Hope you find a happy medium!

Well, the AC and all that will just dry out your vocal cords, so I'm not sure if that's such a good idea.
I remember taking lots of cold showers when I was in Riverside and that actually helps a lot since you're not all sticky and all that.
But considering that I live in SF now and that our supposed heat wave meant temps in the mid-70s, I don't think you'd take me seriously. :)
