On each Asahi can, it says 'biru desu' (it's beer) on the top part. I laugh every time I see it.
And what on God's green earth is hefeweizen??? It sounds like a Germanic word for a farm animal

jr, hefeweizen is an unfiltered wheat beer. sweeter than most beers, i drink mine with a bit of lemon. and i find that after a couple of asahis, the only japanese i understand is, "biru desu."
