hehe...socialite? me?

i've spent every night this week out doing something with at least one friend.

monday, jozjozjoz and i went to a taping of the ellen degeneres show. it was so much fun! i think we were the goofiest ones there, though. we danced, even if it was from our seats, at every commercial break and joz even got a t-shirt! tony spins the greatest stuff to dance to. and ellen's musical guest, john legend, was pretty cool, even if the song he sang was kind of repetitive.

tuesday was rehearsal with vox, had to work hard, but it was a productive rehearsal.

wednesday, i went to dinner with l, who is not a blogger and whom i haven't seen in over a year, and we caught up on our lives. she and i met the year before i started going out with the girlfriend, and we've kept in touch sporadically over the years. we had great food at noshi sushi, and then she had to go home because she was coming down with a cold that she got from her new girlfriend.

i came home wednesday night, and t and the girlfriend were watching the episodes we tivo'd from the monk marathon on new year's. so i got a little visit with her, too.

tonight, we went to dinner with another l, who goes to school back east and was home on winter break. we got to do some catching up, too, and ended up chatting more than we actually ate.

so now i'm going to shower and go to bed, since i have a three day weekend and i don't intend to see anyone if i can help it (although our company christmas party is on sunday, go figure) and i have to do a lot of cleaning that i usually do on the weeknights when i'm home.

but all in all, it was good to see everyone and be social, if only for a little while....
