i was supposed to go to work today...
but i decided to sleep instead. i was at my parents' house for christmas, which meant i got to sleep on the couch. my brother and his wife got the air mattress (which makes sense, there are two of them, only one of me) and i didn't want to cough all night in my mom's room.
but that meant i slept intermittently, and it was freezing in the house! we keep it a reasonable 68 degrees in the bedroom at home, but at mom and dad's the heater only kicks on if it's below 60. eeek!
suffice it to say i was not well rested when i got home today. so instead of working like i was supposed to, i slept. for 6 hours. didn't wake up until it was dark outside.

I don't go to work until tomorrow morning, and believe me, the rest is nice! Just curious as to why you wuld cough in your mom's room. Is she a smoker, or is it dusty?

there are many days like this that i feel like sleeping in instead of going to work but my stomach grumbles and i remember that money brings food so i go in... :(

fms, i've been sick for a couple of weeks, and every time i lay down, the cough worsens to the point that i keep everyone awake around me. it's a good thing those people upstairs are out of town, else they'd be kept awake at night, too!
