i need a new phone

and not just cuz my phone is OLD. the stupid battery won't hold a charge for more than 16 hours and i broke the plastic hinge-thingy under the display. dumb piece of crap.

but my contract with verizon isn't up until october, so i'm stuck with this one. of course, i could always pay the $50 deductible and get a new one. nah, fuck that, then i'd have to input all my phone numbers all over again. if i'm going to get a new phone in october anyway, it's so not worth it.

unless i get one of these:

oooh baby! so what if i have to change carriers and my family is all on verizon???

now where am i going to get me $499?
