because i don't listen to my mother
i had a surprise when i got in my car today. i live in los angeles, and it's rather hot here in june. i did not put my sun reflector in my windshield yesterday, so when i got in my car it was 150 degrees inside. i wanted to put my coke in the drink holder, but it looked rather odd.
i'd forgotten i'd put a full can of coke in the drink holder last week, unopened. well, now it was open. and half of it was spewed onto the gear shift and console of my car. and i remembered that my mother had told me once that her friend had a case of coke in his trunk on the way to vegas and the whole thing exploded and that i had to be careful, "just in case." oops.
why oh why can't i drink diet coke? at least that wouldn't leave a sticky mess on my car!
the can is interesting to look at, though:
it was not a great start to an hour's drive.
on a side note, kleenex is not the most durable thing with which to clean up dry, sticky coke remnants.
and to dispel all those nasty rumors about my beloved beverage, go here.
my friend, l, says that C2 is gross, btw.
